Call-up against Barcelona: Reyes returns,Ronaldo finally out

Fabio Capello announced his eighteen-man list for the great Clasico on Sunday. Reyes returns after recovering from his groin strain, a small rupture of his right adductor muscle. Meanwhile, the Disciplinary Committe has conformed Ronaldo's two yellow cards against Getafe and is therefore suspended.

After the Champions League victory against Steaua Bucharest, Capello has called up eighteen men for the Sunday Clasico, set to begin at 9 pm CET. The list is as expected, without the presence of any youth players and the known absences of injured players Míchel Salgado and Cicinho, and of striker Ronaldo, who is suspended. The Whites are revved up and ready to give their all in their clash against Barça.

José Antonio Reyes returned to group dicipline on Thursday, precisely the same day that David Beckham -left knee rotulian tendon tendinitis- and José María Gutiérrez, 'Guti' -bruised left ankle- first featured in the injury list and began working on their own in the gym.

Still, the injury sympotms and pain have been subsiding throughout the last two days. Nevertheless, the English winger and the Spanish playmaker will join Reyes in the call-up. Everything indicates that the three Real Madrid footballers will be in perfect shape and ready to feature in the clash against Barcelona.

PRE-MATCH PREP: Sarturday 21, 8:30 pm CET, Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
NEXT TRAINING SESSION: Monday, 23 October, 11 am CET, Real Madrid City @ Valdebebas.
