Ramon Calderon:BECKHAM WILL RETIRE IN 2008
According to the president of Real Madrid, Ramon Calderón, in declarations to "BBC Radio Five Live", the English midfield player of Real Madrid will leave soccer in two years, after signing the last contract with the Madrilenian club
The ex-captain of the English selection, 31 years, is not being titular of the white equipment in the starting of the season, although Calderón trusts being able to extend its contract, that finalizes the next year, by two seasons more:"As far as I know, he's decided to retire in two years.For us, it would be fantastic if he could stay with us for the next two years.",said the Real Madrid's president to BBC Radio.On the other hand, Calderón insisted in which Capello is a great admirer of Beckham, in spite of to have maintained him in the bench in the last starting off: "we needed Him. He is playing very well and the coach trusts him . We hope everything will be all right in the next 15, 20 days to sign a new contract .", the president assured .
