Raúl and Diego López react to Cup tie against Betis: "Hard, but we should win"

The Real Madrid captain and starting keeper in the King's Cup spoke to Realmadrid.com about their first impressions of the Betis tie. Both agree that the Green-and-White won't make things easy for the Madridistas and that their bad patch play could end at any moment.

Raúl:
“We drew them last year and won the tie. This year is totally different and just as hard. We have the advantage of playing the second leg at home, and even though they aren't in top form, they may have improved by the time January rolls around.”

Diego López:
“It will be hard, but we should win, especially if we're playing the second leg at the Bernabéu. There's still a month and a half before we play, so there's plenty of time, including a holiday, to see just how each team comes into the tie.”

Ramos press conference:
The first question asked during Sergio Ramos' press conference was about the Cup tie, and the Madridista didn't hide his excitement about returning home: “We played them last year and qualified for the next round. I have great memories of playing against them. I am very happy to be returning home.”
