Squad list:Beckham and Cassano out for the Saturday match against Racing Santander

Eighteen Real Madrid players have been called up for the Racing Santander game pre-match preparation at 8:30 pm tonight. Beckham hasn't trained all week and and has not made the list due to an injury on his meniscus. Meanwhile, Cassano has also been left out for coaching decisions and will be replaced by youth system player Nieto.

Fabio Capello announced the eighteen-player list for the Racing Santander Liga match. Absentees include injured players Cicinho and Ronaldo, who are now joined by Beckham. The English player didn't attend training sessions all week due to some problems on his left knee meniscus. Cassano has also been left out of the squad list. He travelled to Pamplona last week after his suspension was lifted, but the Italian coach has decided to leave him out of this call-up.

Instead, Real Madrid C attacking midfielder Nieto has been picked to join the select group. He frequently trains with the first team since Capello took over and this selection comes as a reward for his efforts and positive attitude during training.
