Madrid Looking To Switch Ronaldos

Reports from Madrid are suggesting the name on Ronaldo’s Bernabeu locker won’t need to change next season, as someone with his same name is expected to arrive in the Spanish capital this summer.

With the Kaka’ deal stalled, Madrid chairman Ramon Calderon has now decided Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s top priority for next season.

Real appear to be one of the few clubs able to complete the requests necessary for the completion of the deal.

The first is clearly the money to afford both the player’s high salary and the huge transfer fee Manchester United are expected to ask in exchange for their Portuguese prodigy, who has a contract binding him to the Red Devils until 2011.

The second, almost more important than the first, is the fact that C. Ronaldo would be more than happy to make the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu as he has stated in more than one interview over the past few years.

Going back to the other Ronaldo, the possible deal bringing him to Milan has entered its crucial phase with the next hours being the deciding factor to whether the switch will actually take place or not.
