R.Carlos and Marcelo return; Diarra still out

Roberto Carlos and Marcelo are among the 20 Madridistas who will meet at 8:30 pm CET on Friday for pre-match preparations before Saturday's Betis clash. The two Brazilian left backs returned to group training this week and are available to play. Diarra was unable to recover on time and Torres is the only Castilla representative on the squad list.
A total of 20 players -coach Capello will make two scratches- will meet at the Mirasierra Suites Hotel at 8:30 pm CET tonight to begin pre-match preparations. Just under 24 hours later, the team will host Betis at the Santiago Bernabéu, and Roberto Carlos and Marcelo won't just be watching from the sideline. The two Brazilian left backs trained with the squad this week and the Italian boss wants their boots laced up with so many crucial encounters on the horizon.
Factory product Torres is the only youth teamer to find his way onto the list, while De la Red and Nieto will rejoin their Castilla teammates. We'll have to wait until game time to see which two flankers Capello gives the nod to now that Roberto Carlos is back. Other than that, there shouldn't be any changes to the lineup. Beckham is on the list for the second straight week, and Cassano, Raúl Bravo, Miñambres have been left off due to a technical decision.
Diarra was unable to recover from the tackle -which required five stitches- received by Real Sociedad's Skoubo last Saturday. The Mali international hasn't trained all week and is still questionable for Tuesday's showdown against Bayern Munich.
